中國(guó)國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易仲裁委員會(huì)是1954年經(jīng)中央人民政府政務(wù)院批準(zhǔn)，由中國(guó)國(guó)際貿(mào)易促進(jìn)委員會(huì)（中國(guó)國(guó)際商會(huì)）組織設(shè)立、獨(dú)立處理經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易爭(zhēng)議的常設(shè)涉外仲裁機(jī)構(gòu)。中國(guó)國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易仲裁委員會(huì)設(shè)立分會(huì)。中國(guó)國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易仲裁委員會(huì)及其分會(huì)是統(tǒng)一的仲裁委員會(huì)，適用統(tǒng)一的《仲裁規(guī)則》和統(tǒng)一的《仲裁員名冊(cè)》。
為了適應(yīng)形勢(shì)發(fā)展需要，進(jìn)一步規(guī)范業(yè)務(wù)管理，提高工作效率，為當(dāng)事人提供優(yōu)質(zhì)的仲裁服務(wù)，2012年1月，根據(jù)我國(guó)《仲裁法》以及國(guó)務(wù)院1988年有關(guān)批復(fù)精神，中國(guó)國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易仲裁委員會(huì)對(duì)其《仲裁規(guī)則》進(jìn)行了修訂。該《仲裁規(guī)則》于2012年2月經(jīng)中國(guó)國(guó)際貿(mào)易促進(jìn)委員會(huì)（中國(guó)國(guó)際商會(huì)）批準(zhǔn)，將自2012年5月1日起施行。
自2012年5月1日起，中國(guó)國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易仲裁委員會(huì)2012年《仲裁規(guī)則》將統(tǒng)一適用于中國(guó)國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易仲裁委員會(huì)及其分會(huì)。
該《仲裁規(guī)則》已在中國(guó)國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易仲裁委員會(huì)官方網(wǎng)站（www.cietac.org）上發(fā)布，敬請(qǐng)查閱。

The China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) is a permanent international arbitration institution independently resolving economic and trade disputes that was set up in 1954 with the approval of the Government Administration Council of the Central People’s Government and under the organization of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade/CCPIT (China Chamber of International Commerce/CCOIC). The CIETAC has sub-commissions. The CIETAC and its sub-commissions form an integrated arbitration commission that uses a uniform set of Arbitration Rules and Panel of Arbitrators.
?In order to better meet the needs of development, further standardize its business management and promote its efficiency so as to provide parties with high-quality arbitration service, the CIETAC revised its Arbitration Rules in January 2012 in accordance with China’s Arbitration Law and the principles laid down in the relevant State Council’s Reply of 1988. Approved by CCPIT/CCOIC in February 2012, the new Arbitration Rules will come into force on May 1, 2012.
As from May 1, 2012, the CIETAC Arbitration Rules (2012) shall uniformly apply to the CIETAC and its sub-commissions.
The new CIETAC Arbitration Rules (2012) have been released on the CIETAC’s official website www.cietac.org for reference.
